The team of lay people at the Center for Health and Prevention in Bulgaria is dedicated to helping people physically, mentally, and spiritually. They do this by sharing the message of hope for eternal life, as well as how to have better health in this life. By God’s grace, they plan to fulfill their mission by opening a lifestyle center and starting a health evangelism training program.
Everybody has a natural daily cycle of sleep, work, recreation, dining, and other activities in a certain sequence and rhythm which define our lifestyle. Today’s advantages and conveniences, along with the excessive stress of modernization, have led to the development of many wrong habits. This in turn is a major cause for disease.
For this reason, the team at the lifestyle center teaches people how to develop a balanced lifestyle, avoid nervous distress and fatigue, and strengthen healthy habits and skills. The recovery programs are based on God's natural remedies, balanced diet suitable for individual needs, hydrotherapy, phytotherapy, massage, exercise, and medical examinations.
God has provided the ministry with a beautiful property a few kilometers from Banya village, near Nova Zagora, which is known for its mineral springs. Temperate climate, the beautiful scenic area, picturesque hills and forests, and clean air will help the guests at the center to relax and enjoy the comfort and good health care.
The Center for Health and Prevention also plans to start a training program in health evangelism, where students will receive medical missionary and evangelism training. They will receive practical training in applying simple natural remedies and using hydrotherapy and physical exercise, learn the Christian principles for their lives, build a personal relationship with Christ, and have the opportunity to become health educators. They will gain experience in reaching the public and working in small groups.
God is already reaching people through this ministry. The team of about 20 people goes forward each day, praying and asking God for His blessing and guidance as they continue this work for His glory.
