Cave Springs Home is located in Pegram, TN, approximately 15 miles west of Nashville. It was established in 1956 and founded for the purpose of teaching and housing handicapped children.
The primary goal of Cave Springs was to prepare a people for life on earth and an eternity in heaven, with an emphasis on allowing our Lord to prepare them for His soon return. Now it is a home for mentally handicapped adults, but the goals remain the same.
The Home maintains a religious atmosphere, with a totally vegetarian diet and a healthy lifestyle. Cleaning, mowing the grass, basic cooking, wash-ing dishes, and doing laundry are some of the simple yet productive skills that help train and occupy the residents. Also, outings like concerts, museums, hayrides, and picnics are planned for their enjoyment.
One of the greatest needs at Cave Springs is workers who are committed to participating in a special job, for a special people with special needs.
