Country Life Institute is located in the sunny Caribbean, on the same island as Haiti, about two hours away from Santo Domingo, the capital city. It is 30 minutes from Bayaguana, the nearest town.
The bakery at the school provides support for the project through the sale of good, healthy bread and other bakery products. In fact, it can hardly make enough bread to fill the demand! They have been blessed recently with new equipment, making the work in the bakery more efficient. It also helps to support the students and train them in a practical trade. 
The lifestyle center has been in operation for three years and has proved a blessing to many. Life-threatening diseases have been treated and suffering souls have found peace and healing for both body and mind. A lovely new sanitarium building is in the process of completion that will provide desperately needed facilities.
For several years, the student program has been training and sending out dedicated missionaries. The educational plan consists of instruction in the practical application of health and agriculture, along with evangelism practiced in the surrounding area.
At any given time there are evangelistic meetings taking place. Because of diligent work, four churches have been built in surrounding towns and many more are needed. Going into an unentered town for evangelism is the culmination of each student program.
