Eden Valley rests in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in northern Colorado and has focused on Jesus' injunction to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel." Eden Valley is involved in sending missionaries to all parts of the world and has been instrumental in starting lights for the Lord in many places such as Korea, Japan, China, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Mexico and many locations in South America.
World Missions Course
This is a one year course focusing on a preparation of the whole person for ministering to the world's needs. The training includes a mixture of classroom instruction with practical hands-on experience in the areas of health, evangelism and agriculture. The work program, as part of the course, also provides opportunities which prepare students for some of the challenges and trials of practical, every day mission life.
Lifestyle Center
The individually-designed lifestyle program begins with a thorough medical evaluation by the physician who will advise a program and will continue to monitor progress. The personalized program includes consultations, exercise, hydrotherapy and massage, lectures, jacuzzi and sauna, as well as cooking demonstrations. Every month there is a three-week session accommodating up to 16 guests.
Farm
It has been said "you are what you eat." The farm grows delicious and nutritious organic produce. But beyond the wonderful vegetables, it is a training for students in providing one of the essentials of education, and is an im-portant branch of outreach as we serve our local community and neighboring towns through the farmer's markets.
Eden Valley Village
The retirement center, better known as The Village, is licensed as a Personal Care Boarding Home and certified as an adult foster care home. One of the unique features is the international atmosphere which comes through the daily interaction with the World Mission students, Lifestyle Guests, and visitors. The country setting provides a peaceful and homelike environment.
