Frontline Builders is a small team of young people who have a burden to provide permanent facilities to those who are faithfully working in the unentered parts of the world. Much of the mission work of the Church is being done by Global Mission Pioneers and Lay Pastors. These men and women have taken the responsibility upon themselves and are tirelessly bringing a message of hope to their own people. You will find them conducting Sabbath School under a tree, and teaching children how to write using nothing but a stick to draw in the sand. By providing permanent buildings for these believers, the work is able to grow.
In South Sudan, working under a rebel movement, the team has constructed the first four permanent Seventh Day Adventist Churches. Frontline Builders worked along with the local members to build these buildings that provide shelter year around for the believers.
The need for schools in Sudan is very great. Frontline Builders has been able to build two primary schools. These eight classroom schools provide opportunity for over one thousand children to have a Christian education, children that may otherwise be soldiers fighting in the 20 year old civil war. Primary schools are one of the most effective evangelism tools being used in Sudan today.
Attached with the building projects there is always an evangelism program. In the evening Bible seminars are held. Evangelism training is offered to church members. Literature is distributed, and Bible workers are sent into remote villages to open up new congregations.
Besides Sudan, the Frontline Builders team has also done a Church building program in Mongolia. Currently the team is doing a project in Chad, North Africa. Here, Frontline Builders working in cooperation with Global Mission and the Local church leadership has made plans to build six primary schools and several churches. Destroyed by years of civil war, Chad is one of the poorest countries in the world and badly needs education programs for the children.
The goal of Frontline Builders is to partner with Seventh Day Adventist Church leadership and find the places that most need permanent facilities. Frontline Builders will continue to equip those who are active in taking the Gospel to unentered territories of the world.
