Herghelia Lifestyle Center and the Romanian Health Evangelism School are settled amid the forests and meadows of Transilvania. In its serenity and pastoral beauty, this beautiful setting is an antidote to stress.
Each year the lifestyle center ministers to five hundred guests who come for three-week sessions from all over Romania and other countries. Herghelia promotes the care of the whole person. Excellent hydrotherapy treatments, massage, medical examinations, and a therapeutic diet suited to individual needs convey to each guest the love of Jesus. With the Lord's blessing, guests leave Herghelia with the spark of the Three Angel's Messages, and are being baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
At the Health Evangelism School students are trained as medical missionaries, learning anatomy, physiology, nutrition, massage and hydrotherapy. These practical tools open doors into the lives of countless individuals, as students and faculty conduct health seminars, Bible studies, public evangelistic meetings, and participate in the Lifestyle Center's program.
Fruits and vegetables organically grown on the farm in the many gardens and greenhouses are served to offer the healthiest food possible for the benefit of the lifestyle guests and students.
