Since 1979, in the southern part of France, on a little farm called Le Mas Perdu, doors have been open to people in difficulty, as well as to those desiring rest in a quiet environment. For 20 years, thousands of young people suffering from problems with drugs, alcohol, psychological disorders, family troubles, and depression have passed through its doors.
Hard work, fresh air, a pure organic vegetarian diet, sunshine, rest, and peace in nature, with plenty of water, along with spiritual meetings in a family atmosphere, provide the healing necessary for these weary souls. It is by putting into practice God's precious counsels that these young people find balance and faith.
Two New Start programs are offered every year, along with health classes presented in a family atmosphere, including morning and evening worship.
Since 1992, Le Mas Perdu has maintained a local Seventh-day Adventist radio station that operates 24 hours a day, providing listeners with a variety of programs including gospel music, health education and spiritual topics, be-friending many.
As our Seventh-day Adventist young people associate with the troubled youth who come to Le Mas Perdu, they are given the opportunity to reconsider their faith and take a new look at their commitment and ministry to God.
