Thanks to the donations and hardwork of so many, Uchee Pines' new lifestyle center is almost completed. They will dedicate the building on June 14. The institution is planning a high weekend to celebrate the event, and all are invited to attend.
They will begin on June 12 with vespers at 7:00pm. The next morning, Sabbath School begins at 9:15am, followed by church at 11:00. Everyone is welcome to eat lunch in the cafeteria at 1:00pm. A concert will be held later in the afternoon, and they will close the Sabbath with a vespers. (Supper will also be provided)
Sunday, the dedication service will begin at 10:00am* with a concert, followed by a few words and the ribbon cutting. Tours will be given before lunch is served at 1:00pm.
Accommodation is limited, so be prepared to stay in a nearby hotel if necessary. Contact Uchee Pines for more details or to reserve your spot.
Update (May 13, 2009): The lifestyle center dedication has been postponed. The center is close to completion, but one wing still requires some work before they can open the whole center for guests. Stay tuned for the new dedication dates!
