Profile: Lifeline to Africa Inc.

Lifeline to Africa Inc. is a non-profit organization founded in 2003 by Peter Carstens. Peter heard about the health practices of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and wanted to share the life changing information he had discovered. Peter left Costa Rica, where he had been living for more than twenty years, to come to the United States. He wanted to find a cure for his health problems, which included obesity, hypertension, respiratory problems, chronic fatigue, a swollen liver, and more. Peter found healing from these diseases and made it his mission to teach people the natural way to stop suffering from chronic health problems.

Peter and his wife Clemencia actively train health educators in the United States, as well as in Ecuador and Africa. Many individuals have expressed an interest in the work that Lifeline to Africa is doing. The ministry’s mission is to provide individuals with the tools needed to make intelligent choices regarding their health and their health problems, and to be able to assist their body in repairing itself from the inside out.

In November 2010, Lifeline to Africa opened its first community health club in Hollywood, Florida. The club holds seminars, as well as provides participants with a continued support network program to help them make the transition into their new lifestyle, and to encourage them to stay on the path to optimal health.

Lifeline to Africa is seeking to empower people with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to help them improve their health as well as the health of their family and friends. Lifeline to Africa plans to open additional health clubs in the future.
